This is how we do!

What a crazy week at Embassy. Not only did Big Boy in DJ E-man from Power 106 rock the house of 3,000 people last week. But the Black Eyed Peas and Pussycat Dolls also found their way to our humble abode.

Wednesday night, all the party animals and Fil-Ams in Embassy were treated to an impromptu performance by APL of their hit song Bebot. The crowd went bananas when they looked up to the dj booth and saw APL singing the song next to DJ Johnny Verse. With a packed house, it’s interesting that there were not enough cell phones up taking pictures and videos of the performance.

Thursday night, which is usually a quiet party night in the Embassy grounds turned out to be the most exclusive VIP party of the week. After the concert of the BEP, they decided to relax at Cuisine. But ofcourse there was no way this was going to be a relaxing night. Once they stepped foot inside, the bottles started flowing and the VIP sections was roped off. All the lucky ladies who were out that night got an up-close and personal experience with the group. And lets not forget one that one of the hot and stunning ladies from the Pussycat Dolls decided to join them for this outing.

Project/Pool Show in NYC

I just came from the Project/ Pool Tradeshow in New York last week. All I have to say is this...it is definitely the coolest show out there. They showcased the freshest brands with thier new designs for Spring 2007. There were a lot of graphic tees and denims. I really didn't see that much all over print-BBC-type of stuff but I'ms sure its going to be big this fall and spring. From the 2 tradeshows, I thought Pool had more creative designs. The brands in Pool were younger and showed less in their collection but that doesn't mean that their creativity was lacking. They had a better connection to the street culture and it was reflected in their designs.

Spread the Love

Love Thy Music- this is definitely THE hottest shirt that Tru Youth just released. Is it because that it connects with everyone regardless of age, race or background? YES. DEFINITELY. These tees have been flying off the shelves or in internet lingo "flying off the cyber shelves" since they started selling online at www.dopeusa.com. Tru Youth has also been getting a lot of love from the press being featured in Public Magazine (Miami) and Vapors Magazine this July. And just think...Tru Youth is only 6 months old. So keep spreading the love...
